  • On Saturday, August 23rd, Dr. Terri Kennedy will be participating in the Harlem 5K "Health Walk-A-Thon." She will provide inspiration and yoga techniques for the walkers on behalf of Harlem's Healthy Living Initiative and the American Heart Association. Sign up to walk.
  • On Saturday, August 16th, Dr. Terri Kennedy will be a special guest at the 90th birthday celebration for Tao Porchon-Lynch. One of the first women to study under B. K. S. Iyengar, Tao has practiced yoga for more than 60 years and has taught in India, France, and the United States.
  • On Saturday, August 16th, Dr. Terri Kennedy will be presenting a workshop on "The 7 Rules of PWR Eating" for Harlem's Healthy Living Initiative. The talk will be provided on behalf of the American Heart Association.
  • On Monday, August 11th, Dr. Terri Kennedy will speak at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. She will lead an interactive workshop on the "Body-Mind-Spirit Connection."
  • On Thursday, August 7th, Dr. Terri Kennedy will participate in the NY City Economic Development Awards Luncheon and Expo at Columbia University in New York. The conference theme is The Economic Impact of Our Health Crisis. Find out more.
  • From Thursday, July 31st through Sunday, August 3rd, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the International Association of Black Yoga Teachers retreat in Los Angeles. She spoke on a panel on "Yoga in Institutions", as well as led a workshop on "Yoga for Chronic Diseases".
  • On Thursday, June 26th, Dr. Terri Kennedy was the keynote speaker for the National Sales Network Award Dinner at the Teaneck Glenpointe Marriott in New Jersey. She spoke on "PWR® Selling: A Holistic Approach to Sales Success."
  • On Sunday, June 22nd, Dr. Terri Kennedy spoke at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition graduation. She inspired the newly-minted Holistic Health Counselors to focus on their passions and build thriving health coaching practices. The ceremony was held at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall within the Time Warner Center in New York.
  • From Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd, Dr. Terri Kennedy facilitated the 5th Annual Spirit of Feathers Retreat at the St. Alphonsus retreat house in Poughkeepspie, New York. The non-profit organization mentors young girls and women of color who are healing in some aspect of spirit, mind and body.
  • On Saturday, June 7th, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in The Abyssinian Bicentennial Walk "Retracing Our Steps." The 11-mile walk revisited all the previous locations of The Abyssinian Baptist Church during its 200 year history, with history-making plaque unveiling ceremonies at each site. The church's first location, from 1808-1854, was 40 Worth (Anthony) Street in Lower Manhatten. The second location, from 1863-1903, was in Greenwich Village at 166 Waverly Place. The third location, from 1903-1923, was in Midtown at 140-46 West 40th Street. The current location is at 132 Odell Clark Place (West 138th Street) in Harlem.
  • On Friday, June 6th, Dr. Terri Kennedy was the keynote speaker for the National Association of Negro Business & Professional Women 50th Northeast District Conference in Buffalo, New York. The theme for this year was "Commitment to Excellence: The Art of Business & Professional Success." She spoke about healthy living with a focus on heart health and stroke prevention on behalf of the American Heart Association.
