As a Harvard-MBA-trained executive and lifestyle expert with a Ph.D. in World Religions, Dr. Terri Kennedy has led personal development workshops, motivational talks, retreats and panels for a variety of corporations, business associations, and other groups. Called "smart with a heart," she has an informed, personable and interactive style. In addition to keynotes and workshops, she has moderated panels, done red carpet interviews and hosted full-day events. She has been featured in a range of media from CNN and NBC to O: The Oprah Magazine and The New York Times - receiving a reach of over 40 million using her own branding techniques.
She comes from a family of communications experts. Her father was a pioneer in Executive Leadership Training in the 1950s, and worked with another Speech & Voice pioneer, Arthur Lessac, in being one of the first to bring The Lessac Method to colleges, including Brooklyn College and The New School of Social Research. Over the last 50 years, the method has been taught around the world. Her mother, Janie Sykes-Kennedy, is an acclaimed journalist from Columbia School of Journalism. Dr. Terri Kennedy continues the tradition of using media and communications to educate and empower.
