On Wednesday, July 15th, 2010,
Dr. Terri Kennedy led her popular Stress or Success workshop for employees at Bloomberg Media. She shared mental, physical and organizational strategies for conquering stress and regaining control, as well as hands-on techniques to decompress right away.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Speaks at New York City Bar Association 
On Wednesday, June 30th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy was a panelist for the New York City Bar Association panel entitled "Career Planning During Turbulent Times: Strategies for Success." The event provided resources, advice and guidance on how to better manage your career while facing the challenges presented by the current economic landscape.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Speaks at The Greater Allen Cathedral of New York 
On Saturday, June 26th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy led a session for The Greater Allen Cathedral of New York Young Adult Conference 2010, Harvest It Now! It is a time of refreshing, redirection and renewal for the twenty-somethings and thirty-somethings of the church. Dr. Kennedy's session was entitled "PWR Principles: Achieving Purpose With Results." On Sunday, June 6th, Dr. Kennedy was the keynote for the Rites of Passage graduation ceremony for The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York. She shared inspiration and life management tips for the young ladies who completed the program, as well as their families.

Dr. Terri Kennedy is Keynote for Speaking of Women's Health
On Thursday, May 27th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy was a keynote speaker for Speaking of Women's Health in Indiana - energizing and inspiring 1,000 women. Her topic was "PWR Eating: Using Food to Fuel Your Dreams." She also offered a break-out session on "The PWR Detox." Speaking of Women's Health is a non-profit program of the Cleveland Clinic Center. Dr. Terri Kennedy Leads Program for NYC Department of Education Principals
On Tuesday, May 25th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy led a "From Stress to Success" program for the Principal's Conference for the Empowerment Schools Children First Network #4. She shared practical and proactive stress management techniques. Principals of Empowerment Schools have greater autonomy from the New York City Department of Education in terms of management, instruction, and budget, if they agree to meet performance goals.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Leads Program for The Links of New York
On Tuesday, May 18th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy presented her signature "Raise Your Spirit" segment for The Links in New York. She shared inspiration, information and practical techniques for making healthy living a reality. The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in American Heart Association Power Events
On Friday, May 7th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the American Heart Association 2010 Power Awards at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. She was a 2009 National Award winner. On Saturday, May 8th, she participated in the Power Networking Presentation to acknowledge achievements of Power Ambassadors.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in World Economic Forum on Africa
From May 2nd through 7th, 2010,
Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the World Economic Forum on Africa in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Summit brings together some of the world's top policy and decision makers to discuss that region and global challenges. She also attended a special Young Global Leaders gathering and shared some Power Living tips. Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in the NAMA Conference
From April 14th through 18th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the 7th Annual National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) Conference in San Mateo, CA on behalf of Yoga Alliance. This year's theme is "Ayurveda: Complementary Global Medicine." Dr. Kennedy has been a case study presenter in the past.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in the Yoga Journal Conference
From April 8th through 11th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy once again participated in the Yoga Journal Conference Boston on behalf of Yoga Alliance. The conference is a convergence of yogis of all ages and backgrounds from around the country and abroad. Yoga Alliance sponsored "The Business of Being Yoga Teacher" Continuing Education Panel.

On Wednesday, March 17th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in American Stroke Association Advisory Committee Meeting in Chicago. The Committee offered advice on the Association's 2010 and beyond strategic direction.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Presents Program for the HIV & Heart Disease Community Education Forum
On Tuesday, March 16th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy presented a program on heart health and stress management for the HIV & Heart Disease Community Education Forum. The event was in collaboration with the Black Women's Health Imperative and the Iris House, and took place at the New York Academy of Medicine. It was part of a nine-city tour targeting women of color ages 18 and older who are living with HIV.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in Yoga Alliance Board Retreat
On Friday, March 11th and Thursday, March 12th, 2019, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the Yoga Alliance Board Retreat in DC. Yoga Alliance sets the standards for yoga teaching in the U.S. Dr. Kennedy has served on the Board for six years and is their former Chair.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Moderates for the FitTown USA
On Wednesday, March 10th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy moderated a panel discussion entitled, "Food Thought in Underserved Communities" as part of a Town Hall organized by Dr. Mehmet Oz's HealthCorps and Donna Karan's Urban Zen Foundation, in conjunction with the national health challenge, FitTown USA. The discussion focused on the movement to bring more integrative health practices to often neglected communities. Panelists included Sarita Dhuper, MD, FACC, Director of Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Obesity Program at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center; Anna Hammond, Executive Director of The Sylvia Center; Craig King, Filmmaker, Chef and Founder/CEO of Craig King Enterprises; and Jerusha Klemperer, Program Manager of Slow Food USA.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Moderates for the Harlem Business Wellness Forum
On Thursday, March 4th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy moderated the Harlem Business Wellness Forum sponsored by the American Diabetes Association and Aetna. The theme was "Diabetes: Wellness in the Workplace Connecting Mind, Body & the Bottomline." The Forum brought together the business community with health experts to discuss how health affects productivity in the workplace and strategies for businesses to improve their Health & Productivity Management offerings. Dr. Terri Kennedy Speaks at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York
On Saturday, February 20th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy led a workshop exploring the topic "No More Drama -- Managing Stress Before It Manages Me" for the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York. In this very interactive session, she shared information and hands-on techniques to help participants reduce stress and lead healthier lives. The event was sponsored by their Women’s Health Ministry which is led by the Co-Pastor, Rev. Dr. Elaine McCollins-Flake. For their 27th Anniversary Women's Season, the theme is "Walking in Divine Manifestation." During this season the women experience events focused on spiritual, physical, emotional renewal and empowerment. The mission of the Women’s Health Ministry is to promote wellness and to reduce the prevalence of disease that disproportionately affects the members of their community. View sample video clip.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Speaks at The Abyssinian Baptist Church
On Sunday, February 14th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy shared stress management techniques for the Go Red Sunday: Events of the Heart program at The Abyssinian Baptist Church in New York sponsored by their Health Ministry. "Go Red" is a program of the American Heart Association which raises women's awareness about heart disease, and encourates women to take action to reduce their personal risk. Dr. Terri Kennedy Speaks for Go Red - Protecting our Hearts
On Wednesday, February 12th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy was the keynote speaker for the Go Red - Protecting our Hearts event at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Kennedy led the group in stress management techniques and provided lifestyle coaching advice for the health professionals.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Speaks at The Harvard Club of New York City
On Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy spoke about "How to Turn Your Passion Into A Sustainable Social Enterprise" at The Harvard Club of New York City. The event was sponsored by three Harvard entities: the Harvard Club, Harvard Business School Club of New York and the Harvard Social Enterprise Club. She shared her journey from corporate executive to social entrepreneur, offering advice on surviving the start-up phase, creating innovative strategies for outreach and funding, as well as managing personal balance and sanity. Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in World Economic Forum in Davos
From January 26th through the 31st, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2010 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.  In response to new priorities, the organizing theme for the 40th Annual Meeting was a call to action, "Improve the State of the World: Rethink, Redesign and Rebuild". The program focused on six areas of inquiry and their global, regional and industry dimensions: how to strengthen economies, mitigate global risks, ensure sustainability, enhance security, create a values framework and build effective institutions. Dr. Kennedy was a discussion leader for a session on "The Economics of Happiness." The session included leaders such as Nariman Behravesh, Chief Economist of IHS Global Insight; Archbishop Reinhard Marx of Munich and Freising; Joseph E. Stigliz, Professor at Columbia University; Richard H. Thaler, Professor of Economics and Behavioral Science at the University of Chicago, among others. For the Young Global Leader group, she also co-presented an overview of "The Wellness Factor" - a measure of global wellness compiling indicators that go beyond infectious diseases and life expectancy. It would be a "measure of success" for all kinds of prevention programs around the world implemented by government, private sector and civil society. View interview from Davos.

Dr. Terri Kennedy Participates in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
From January 16th through 19th, 2010, Dr. Terri Kennedy participated in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration sponsored by the King Center in Atlanta. She attended the Annual Salute to Greatness Awards Dinner honoring Quincy Jones and Allstate Corporation Chairman, President and CEO Mr. Thomas J. Wilson. In addition to the honorees, other participants included: Ambassador Andrew Young; Elder Bernice King; Tom Joyner, Actress-Producer Jasmine Guy; Jesse Hill, Jr., former chairman and CEO of Atlanta Life insurance Co. (and Dr. Kennedy's mentor); Coca Cola Foundation Chair Ingrid Saunders Jones; King Center President and CEO Isaac Newton Farris, Jr.; King Center Vice Chair and Treasurer Christine King Farris; and others. She also attended the Annual Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
