Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Visits Largest Yoga Centers in China
From Monday, November 13 through Thursday, November 23, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy traveled through China with her sister, Sheila Kennedy-Bryant. In addition to visiting historical sites and sacred temples, they visited the major yoga studios in Beijing and Shanghai.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Participates in Central Harlem Health Revival
Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy participated in the inaugural Central Harlem Health Revival - an event designed to motivate Central Harlem residents to adopt healthier lifestyles. On Thursday, September 28, 2006, she demonstrated breathing techniques and talked about ways to cope with asthma at the Salvation Army. On Friday, September 29, 2006, she led a workshop focused on Cardiovascular Health at Abyssinian Baptist Church.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Participates in Children's Sports & Fitness Expo
On Saturday, September 23, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy participated in the third annual Children's Sports & Fitness Expo. Joined by some of the Ta Yoga teachers, she led a group of kids in a series of yoga sessions throughout the day.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Participates in New York Health Care Community Meeting
On Saturday, April 22, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy participated in the New York Health Care Community Meeting in Harlem. The event was sponsored by the Citizens' Health Care Working Group which was created by Congress and the President to hear your input on how to make health care work for all Americans. The event was held at Windows Over Harlem Restaurant at the Adam Clayton Powell Jr., State Office Building in Harlem.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18 and 19, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy attended the 2006 Inner City 100 Summit in Boston. Founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School professor Michael E. Porter, ICIC promotes economic prosperity in America's inner cities through private sector engagement that leads to jobs, income and wealth creation for local residents. Terri spoke on a panel for the ICIC Growing Up CEO Program which celebrates outstanding young CEOs who run successful inner city businesses.

On Friday, April 7, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy was a featured speaker for the 3rd Annual Women's Leadership Conference sponsored by the Westchester Chapter of 100 Hispanic Women. The event took place at the Pace University School of Law in White Plains, NY. She spoke on a panel entitled, "Achieving Balance: Self-Development & Realization," along with restauranteur and lifestyle author, B. Smith and National Vice President from Warm Spirit, Toni Coleman.

From Thursday, March 30 through Sunday, April 2, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy attended the INC 500 Conference & Awards Ceremony in Savannah, Georgia as a guest of President Clinton and INC Magazine. She has been selected to be a part of President Clinton's Emerging Entrepreneurs Program, in association with INC Magazine.

Terri joined other experts for the "CBCF Wellness Show" to discuss the state of health in the African American community. The event was held at York College in Queens, NY.

On Friday, March 24, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy was at Hue-Man Bookstore & Cafe leading an interactive "mini-escape" chat promoting her Power Living: Mini-Escapes relaxation CD. She led the group in chair yoga movements and breathing techniques, as well as held a discussion on maximizing personal productivity and purpose-driven power.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Joins Faculty of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition
Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy has joined the faculty of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. On Monday, March 6, 2006, she began as the Business Coach for the Fast Track students, conducting a series of teleclasses on the business of coaching and holistic health counseling.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Leads Workshop for Figure Skating in Harlem
On Monday, February 20, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy led a workshop for Figure Skating in Harlem - which provides educational, cultural and athletic opportunities for girls in the Harlem community through the unique discipline and art of figure skating. She taught the girls ages 12 - 14 years old yoga postures, breathing techniques and discussed the importance of taking care of themselves.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Leads Workshop for the Beacon School
On Tuesday, January 31, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy was a guest for the Girl's Basketball Team at The Beacon School in New York. She led the young athletes in yoga, stretching and breathing techniques, and discussed the importance of taking care of themselves.

Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy Leads Workshop for The Bridge Program
On Saturday, January 21, 2006, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy led a workshop for The Bridge Program "Pampered and Paid" Event - which helps people transition back into the workforce. She taught stress management and chair yoga techniques. The event was held at the historic Theresa Hotel in Harlem.
