Journey to India with Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch
From January 4th through January 15th 2014, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA joined a Journey to India with 95-year-old Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch. They went from North to South – New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Cochin, Kerala. Dr. Terri Kennedy is co-writing Tao’s biography.
9th Annual Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit
From February 26th through March 1st, 2014, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA spoke at the 9th Annual Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit in Boca Raton, Florida. The event catered to executive women of color and provided an opportunity to connect, and get expert advice from today’s leading female executives and decision makers.
On Thursday, April 17th, 2014, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA participated in Mobile Life in New York. Sponsored by Silicon Harlem, the event focused on the “Internet of Things” – how entertainment can galvanize consumer behavior on mobile, how mobile will optimize our everyday activities and interactions, and how applications and services will be optimized on mobile platforms. The event was a part of MobileWeek Conference & Hackathon 2014.
NAPW National Networking Conference 2014
On Friday, April 25th, 2014, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA spoke at the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Networking Conference 2014 in New York. She joined other notable speakers including Star Jones, Robin Roberts, Barbara Corcoran, Dr. Holly Phillips among others. Content Strategy Salon
On Thursday, May 8th, 2014, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA participated in the Content Strategy Salon presented by Viacom and the Digital Diversity Network in New York. Content is indisputably, “King” and the key to driving consumer connections and engagement: but in this new world of disruptive technology and high-velocity change, it can no longer be a one size fits all. It must be flexible, adaptable, sharable, responsive, reusable, interesting and profitable. The event featured a conversation with leading creators, marketers, distributors and strategists.
Harvard Kennedy School Reunion and IDEASpHERE Conference
From May 14th – 16th, 2014, Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy, Ph.D., MBA will participate in the Harvard Kennedy School Reunion and IDEASpHERE Conference in Boston. The reunion is for World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders who participated in the Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century Executive Education program over the last five years. IDEASpHERE is the Kennedy School’s campaign celebration focusing on ideas on how to make democracy work, how to create shared, sustainable prosperity and how to harness the forces reshaping our work.
